The Mocanitza is a stream train that runs for 45 kilometres, in the Maramure Mountains in Rumania, serving four forest stations in the Waser valley. The train is sometimes five or six hours late. Accidents and derailments are quite frequent, but in the forest station of Faina everything is taken philosophically and only the stationmaster consults his watch.
