The book «The Hogar Mountain», having read the book the authors of this film decided to attack the west face. After one attempt in 1967, they managed to climb it in 1970 and with an old cine camera made a film that was to remain unused for 25 years. In 1996 they decided to relive the past, with the climb and scenes of the Tuareg they met in the Amadror rock salt mines.
