Exterminated by hunters between 1700 and 1800 in the whole of the Alps, today the brown bear is beginning to repopulate the woods of the eastern Alps. This documentary illustrates the behaviour and biology of this shy and reserved alpine mammal. It also shows how its presence need not upset the life and work of humans.
