The Jesuit, Father Eusebio Chini, born in Segno in Val di Non in 1645, spent 24 years in the Sonora desert (between Arizona and Mexico) to evangelize the Pima and Pápago tribes. He was responsible of their social and economic development and at the same time protected the dignity and interests of the Indians against the power of the Spanish conquerors. The documentary is a biography of Father Kino staged in the places where he was born, grew up and carried out his work and, at the same time, it investigates what remains of his memory today.
