The Marcialonga di Fiemme e Fassa is Italy’s most popular cross-country skiing event, covering 72 Km between the two valleys at the feet of the Dolomites. Over recent years, the number of competitors has always been at least 4,500. This year, the Marcialonga celebrated its 25th anniversary, and is therefore particularly important for the number of enthusiasts involved. This documentary has an historical part with pictures from the early years of the event, as well as a report on the latest 25th anniversary event.
