The celebrated although –paradoxically- not sufficiently well-known SAT choir is also and especially «memory». The long, passionate research conducted by the four Pedrotti brothers –Trento photographers who founded the choir- starts at the end of the Twenties and illuminates a scenario of folk music and poetry of exceptional beauty. Just like the images which come to life in the dark room of their lab: the landscapes, the faces, the voices and the feelings evoked by the folk-songs which emerge from the darkness of time. Without this effort, the sounds and the words, the lyric message of the sounds and the words, the lyric message of song, probably would have slowly melted into oblivion.
