A group of mentally handicapped children with their educationist perform a legend of the valle di Fiemme: el Salvanel. The story takes places in the natural environment and the parts are played by the children themselves and by local woodcutters, farmworkers and sculptors. The video film and the legend revive old values linked to the world of the mountains, the protection of the countryside, survival in an environment that is as beautiful as it is hostile, respect for the natural resources of the flora and fauna and solidarity between people.
