In this documentary, images and interviews survery community life in Rimella in the upper Valsesia (Piedmont) with its language, culture, economy, environment and history. There are also real-life-stories, tales of emotion, joy, sadness, memories and hopes in a European and Alpine community with a tradition and culture to safeguard and defend. The movie is based on the experience and research of the Centro Studi Walser, with Walser and European researchers providing a clear portrait of the Rimella community.
