Monody, the ancient form of song in Corsica, the ethnomusicologist Bernardu Pazzoni is committed to fighting against Time to save monodic song from oblivion. The movie accompanies him to Alta Rocca, in the Lévie locality, where occasional bards keep the original form of singing alive.
