The movie talks about the glacio-speleologic expedition on one of the largest glaciers of the Caucasus-Gergeti area in order to study the architecture of the eastern peaks shaped by nature’s forces and especially by glaciation. The expedition reaches the glacier’s peak where there is the inactive volcano called Kazbegi. This area in not solely symbolically and historically important, but also economically valuable and challenge to climbers.
