Thorsmörk, the valley of Thor, is hidden among the ice and rivers of southern Iceland. The film portrays the beauty of the landscapes, partly filmed from a helicopter, in order to contrast green grass with the black sand and the white ice melting into deep, dangerous streams. The music accompanying these images was specially written for this film so that people could become familiar with the sound and the beauty of Iceland.
