The movie plunges us immediately into the territory of the Paneveggio Pale di San Martino Natural Park located in the easternmost part of the Autonomous Province of Trento (Italy). It then takes a closer look at the biologic, physiologic and ethnologic aspects of one of the animal species most suitably adapted to the difficulties of high altitude habitats: the Alpine chamois (Rupicapra Rupicapra). This animal is observed through its whole life cycle, in its relations with its fellow chamois and with its environment.
