During an outing from the Pordoi Pass to the summit of Sella we learn the story of the formation of the Dolomites thanks to a very special didactic methos. The formation of geological strata and their movements are illustred by making a sandwich filled with layers of cheese, butter and slices of speck. It is a very effective explanation from an educational point of view.
