The stories told by a Savoyard narrator lead us along the path of the "Little Happyness" winding through the mountains and valleys, passing baroque churches and chapels as well as men and animals. In a mixed atmosphere of religion, legend and pure fantasy, the holy images come to life and try to protect the traveller from the temptations of the devil with retorts by the angels and saints. The path takes its name from an interior journey towards the "Little Happiness", that is towards the serenity and joy the mountain landscape inspires.
