The title of the film is a phrase taken from a book by Walter Bonatti, the great Lombard alpinist and explorer. The video summarises the most important moments in Bonatti's life, not only his mountaineering feats (with valuable old film), but also his work for over fifteen years, as a journalist and photo reporter for the magazine " Epoca", in distant, unexplored and unknown places in the world. The programme was made in collaboration with the National Museum of Mountains - CAI Turin and with the advice of Roberto Mantovani.
