Everyone knows that Canada has plenty of water and very attractive natural areas able to generate many legends. And this reportage, of three men in a canoe descending the rapids of some rivers, is framed in a local legend: the sacrifice of a beautiful Indian girl who lives in the woods. The pretext is used to accompany the three daredevils in their adventure, filmed in an interesting way for various reasons: because it highlights, with moving images, the beauty of the Canadian landscape; because the film is shot by the canoeists, so the camera is not a detached observer but dives with them into the huge sprays and fearful turbulent water; because everything is left to the eloquence of the images without any spoken commentary; and finally because these images are heightened by the beat of music appropriately composed for the occasion.
