The title should be taken literally: it is really around the world in seven minutes. In the sense that this account of an unusual expedition, made by four lorries used as campers around the world (a total distance of 172,000 kilometres) was reduced to a minimum by using a very rapid montage which shows us images of each place in the fraction of a second. It is an unusual refined technique, with strictly calculated timing to obtain an interesting rhythmic counterpoint. It makes us think, with a good dose of irony, about the haste, approximation, and fever with which we travel the world today, as well as becoming acquainted with it through mass media and the way we participate in the things that happen to people on earth.
