In spring when the temperature starts to rise and for a few months Siberian temperatures are forgotten, the people in the North Circle celebrate the Spring Festival. Life in the cold and snow has not changed much from previous centuries, except for the advent of some up-to-date motor vehicles, equipment and clothes. The well-known Slovenian photographer Stane Klemenc has visited the people living here several times and in this documentary he shoots their spring festival, the competitions, races, folklore, traditions and their way of life in the cold and scarcely inhabited polar region.
