Two personages who have become famous, Mauro Corona and “Bubu” Bole, pass the time chatting while travelling together in a car. They are two alpinists of different generations, as revealed when comparing their opinions on mountains and climbing. It is Mauro who does most of the talking and entertains us with his ideas on mountaineering and life. Bubu chips in now and again, but the film shows here that its real purpose is to portray, with some selected footage, scenes of Bubu facing passages on walls of the highest grade of difficulty.
