The film presents a day in the life of a young Somali man who fled his homeland during the civil war and found refuge in Holland where he was granted asylum.
Unfortunately, however, he is unable to settle in this different kind of society and so he gradually loses his mind and spends his time travelling by train between Rotterdam Central Station and the airport.
The bustle of the station reminds him in some way of a town centre in Somalia, but he is unable to find the marketplace or make contact with his fellow countrymen.
The film portrays Nolocha’s daily routine, how and where he lives and how desperate he is.
