The documentary is dedicated to Alberto Maria De Agostini and retraces the principle stages in the journey of thos missionary-explorer in the southernmost lands of Latin America. based on the programme “Sulle orme dei grandi alpinisti esploratori Biellesi” that the alpinist Enrico Rosso has had in the story of De Agostini seen through the eyes of the person retracing his fats today. Shot in thrre different expeditions, the work group reaches Mount Oliva, sarmiento, Paine, Fitz Roy, and Balmacede, retracing the journeys described by De Agostini in his great editorial production and films.
