Michelle Dumaresq is Canada’s current National Champion in the adrenaline-charged sport of downhill mountain biking. But it’s not her riding talent that’s sparked international media attention - it’s the fact that for the first 20 years Michelle was Michel. Shot over 2 yares, 100% Woman chronicles Michelle controversial foray into women’s racing. As the first transgendered athlete ever to represent her country in international competition, she’s testing all the limits. Whether it’s friendships with her team mates, gender definitions, or the political climate of international sport, Michelle forces us all to ask: can a transsexual be 100% Woman?
