All climbers dream of exploring remote and unknown lands and conquering inviolate summits. Three climbers, spurred by this spirit and guided by Karl Unterkircher and a doctor, set off for an extraordinary expedition to the Tibetan region of Kham to discover the Gyalthang range. Nobody, apart from local people, knows these places. Provided with just one satellite image, they have to make their way towards the mysterious Mount Genyen, 6,200 m. high. Has this sacred mountain ever been climbed or will they be the first? Heaven is hostile. Will they manage to master the powerful guardian spirits of Genyen with the help of the Gelugpa monks and fulfil their dream of reaching the summit?
