This films deals with the Sahara nomadic life and investigates the secrets and problems of the desert, its native inhabitants, and its fragile ecosystem. Global heating does not represent the only threat for its inhabitants. The business created around the desert, such as the tours and the rally competitions are constantly reducing the already absurd limited protected areas, alias the “ghettos”, where nomads and animals are obliged to live. The nomads have learned to live in this waste deserted land that has been their natural environment for centuries. Today, their main concern is “the dryness of heart and conscience” of those who are invading and destroying their land.
