The documentary wants to show the exact contrast between the beauty of uncontaminated and unforgettable landscapes and the conditions of extreme poverty and exploitation in some areas of South America, particularly in the region that includes part of Bolivia, Argentina and Chile. The film takes us along the routes of the Spanish colonists and smugglers, who from the rich Bolivian mining town of Potosì, reached the Chilean cost where loaded with silver the ships set off for the Europe. Thanks to that silver obtained with the slavery and death of thousands of natives of Central and South America, Europe had its Renaissance. But today, hell is still found in the mines of Potosì.
