“Not if you can, but you must” is a documentary film that depicts life of people from the village of Lukomir, one of the most isolated village in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with an emphasis on the position of women and the male-female relationship. Hard life and lack of perspective in this mediaeval village, force young people to leave the village.
