The film is a tale about the slow death of Goleshovo, a forgotten town in the mountains of Bulgaria. Here, a handful of old people struggle for survival. A couple fights with their old donkey, a forgetful priest leads his congregation into confusion and a woman tries to cheer up her friends with her songs. Only one question reverberates in the air: will their children ever return?
