The film is about the extraordinary comparisons between the disaster that occurred in Stava, in Val di Fiemme (Trentino) in 1985 and the less-known catastrophe which caused almost 500 casualties in Sgorigrad (North-West Bulgaria) in 1966, comparing cause, backgrounds and consequences. Through the touching accounts of eye-witnesses who, for the first time, have had the opportunity to talk publicly about their experiences, this documentary film attempts to reconstruct the way the events occurred and the consequences that are still there today for the local community.
