This film tells five incredible stories of British climbers. The biggest challenge in the life of James Pearson is a huge slab of rock that faces the cliffs overlooking the Devon coast. Dave MacLeod’s plan is to achieve impressive climbs in each of the climbing disciplines. Brother-and-sister team Pete and Katy Whittaker demonstrate their strength, determination and successes. Steve McClure attempts a repeat speed climb of Rhapsody, an E11 route, the most difficult grade on the English scale. The films also shows an additional success by James Pearson, who opened what is believed to be the world’s hardest gritstone route.
