Shot in Eastern Serbia, this film tells the story of a family who live in a lonely yet sunny place. It testifies to the primitive life of these people in an isolated mountain region where each day exposes them to the natural elements. A large hydroelectric power station has been recently built nearby. The paradox is that this family lights its home with an oil lamp. All they want, need and seek is electricity, yet they cannot have it, despite living with the continuous roar of a power station that produces millions of kilowatts.

Vladimir Perovic
Born in Montenegro, Vladimir Perovic graduated in Television and Film Directing from the Faculty of Dramatic Art in Belgrade. He has made original documentaries, as well as the occasional brief television serial. He has taken part in a host of national and international festivals, receiving fifty-seven awards.
