If the people of Obcina were asked what their greatest wealth was, they would say their number of children. These children turn this already picturesque mountain village into a special place with their unending cheerfulness. The film captures the summer routine of one group of children. All of them exude a particular brand of happiness that arouses curiosity about their joyful mountain life. The children deal with the unexplainable absence of their parents with admirable industry: they tend vegetable patches, cook meals, look after cows and sheep, and use bundles of imagination to keep themselves busy.
