It is a normal day in a small Russian village as its few, bizarre inhabitants get on with the routine of everyday life. One man, however, cannot take any more of his disrespectful, noisy and badly behaved neighbours. Finally the man convinces himself to look at life from a different point of view; he takes the situation in hand and makes a life-changing decision. But will his decision also change things for the rest of the village? The film tells the story of the events, violence and solitude of the isolated life in this tiny mountain village.
