In a technologically advanced Nordic country there are still those who earn their living doing traditional trades. An old village workshop in rural Finland is still in full swing. On a warm summer’s day, the inhabitants of the village live in perfect harmony with the environment which surrounds them, but underneath the apparent tranquillity the signs of inexorable change can be sensed.

He obtained a diploma in Film and Television from the Lathi Polytechnic Institute of Design in Finland. His diploma film "Man Seeking Man" (2004), received various international awards. Since then he has made numerous documentaries, screened at prestigious festivals including IDFA, Doc-Leipzig and Jihlava.
