Visitors from far away appear suddenly in the misty swamps of northern Finland. The local people become restless: things are changing amidst the berry and soft fruit bushes. Who is to blame and who is taking advantage of all this? The film analyses the way Finnish people think and the absurdities of the global economy.

Elina Talvensaari
She studied anthropology and sociology at the University of Helsinki. She subsequently turned her attention to film studies, specialising in the direction of documentaries. "How to pick berries" is the film with which she obtained her diploma at Aalto University in Helsinki.
