Roi Vaara is one of the greatest contemporary Scandinavian artists. He was born in 1953 in Moss, Norway, but developed artistically in Helsinki, where he has been one of the most significant cultural figures since the 1980s. In this short film-performance we see him go into business in the middle of winter.

Roi Vaara is one of the most important contemporary Scandinavian performance artists. Born in Moss, Norway in 1953, he studied at the University of Art and Design in Helsinki. Since 1982 he has presented more than 300 different successful shows. In 2010 he was given the Pro Finlandia Medal of the Order of the Lion. He lives and works in Helsinki.
