The story of a town at the mercy of a landscape in transformation; standing on the brink of an encroaching reality, one in which the age-old fears of the inhabitants are being reproduced. A hamlet has survived, perched in a remote location where its children can grow up and the elderly can die and stay there.

Michelle Ibaven
Born in 1981, she graduated with a degree in communication and specialized in audiovisual production at the ITESM. She took additional courses in directing and screenwriting for documentaries and in photography directing for digital film at the Madrid Film School in Spain. "No hay lugar Lejano" (2012) is her first work as a director.
