This the story of Raul and Pedro, a climber and a director brought together by a common dream: to climb a mountain higher than 8,000 metres for the first time. For months, the film-maker and climber travel across the Himalayas searching for voices and stories, ending by climbing the eighth highest mountain in the world, the Manaslu – 8,163 metres. The film tells the story of the adventurous expedition, trying to dig deeply into the reasons behind the spiritual and transcendental need to wander through the mountains.
