Nils drives a snow blower and lives a carefree life in a remote winter paradise. His son’s sudden death puts him in the middle of a drug war between Norwegian mafia and the Serbians. In this world he is a beginner – armed with heavy machinery and beginner’s luck.

Hans Petter Moland
Spending his formative years in the United States, Hans Petter Moland (b. 1955) got his education in film and theatre direction at Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts, graduating in 1978. After finishing his studies he began directing commercials and music videos for clients all around the world. In 1993 he made his debut as a feature film director, with “The Last Lieutenant”, and since then he has directed numerous features, including “The Beautiful Country” with Nick Nolte and Tim Roth, selected at the Berlin Film Festival.
