Marc, a Professor of Literature at the University of Lausanne, has a series of amorous adventures with his female students. After a night of passion with his latest flame, who is also one of his most brilliant students, he finds her dead in his bed. As he has no faith in justice, Marc hides her body. A few days later Marc meets Anna, who is trying to discover what has happened to her daughter, who has disappeared. Set against the background of an alpine winter, this psychological thriller paints the portrait of a man with two faces, whose life disintegrates before his very eyes. The screenplay is an adaption of the novel Incidences by Philippe Djian, published in 2010. The Larrieu brothers were seduced by certain elements of the book like the mountains, nature and intimacy, which are close to their cinematic world.
