A family of athletes, some professional, others simply enthusiasts, but all of them driven by the same passion: ski mountaineering. A sport that demands effort, training, spirit of sacrifice, an iron will and character. These are fundamental qualities if one wishes to participate in the Mezzalama Trophy. Through the life of the Cazzanelli family, father, son and daughter, we will discover three different ways of participating in the event. With its landscape, windblown ridges at an altitude of over 4.000 metres and athletes, the true protagonist of the documentary is the Mezzalama Trophy itself .
Born in the province of Brescia, he studied visual art and works in the world of television and music production. As an adult he rediscovered the mountains and tried to combine his profession with a passion for the environment and alpine sports. In 2011 he made the documentary "Rock.X", presented at the 59th edition of Trento Film Festival and the documentary "Vertical Stage", which has yet to be screened. In 2012 he made and produced the documentary "I Core, my climbing family", screened at Trento Film Festival 2013.
