The clothes unsold in the West are sent to Panipat, a small village in the north of India, where western clothes are recycled to obtain new yarns. Along with her colleagues, Reshma has no clear idea about western cities and thus during the working process, she tries to imagine what they are like, starting from the motifs of the fabrics passing through her hands. A story about imagination in the era of globalisation.

Meghna Gupta
Meghna Gupta obtained a diploma in cinema and television at the London College of Communication. After attending a Master’s degree course in anthropology, he worked for the Documentary Filmmakers’ Group in London. He currently produces music videos and other short film content for Soul Rebel Film. With Unravel, his debut as a director, he has collected several awards.
