Vertigine bianca is the official documentary of the Winter Olympics held in Cortina d'Ampezzo in 1956, the first to be held in Italy. Giorgio Ferroni created a spectacular but at the same time experimental work, in which the film itself competed against the difficulties of filming the different Olympic disciplines. It was precisely thanks to the extremely exciting footage of numerous disciplines that Vertigine Bianca saw unprecedented distribution, becoming the global testimonial of this edition.
