After having left his small village in the Indian Himalayas at an altitude of 2500 metres to seek fortune in Delhi, Makar Singh is soon obliged to return to help his family, following the sudden death of his father. However, for Makar this change of programme will be an opportunity to organise the fight to improve living conditions and to emancipate his small community, through the creation of infrastructures and access to telecommunications.
