At the end of the 18th century the region of Calabria was hit by a devastating earthquake. The memory of this distant event is still present in the form of material signs, such as the white scars on the crests of the mountains and the remains of a town that has developed a new life over the centuries, but also in historic images and invisible presences that return in various forms, interweaving and showing themselves.
