The Dropka, a nomadic population obliged, much against their will, to witness the rapid desertification of their homeland, live on the western tablelands of Tibet. Their lives are marked by the dramatic struggles of everyday existence involved in dealing with a life exposed to the fury of the elements and menaced by the drying up of the soil.
