In 2012 a group of farmers came together to combat the plans of a powerful energy company, which intended to position enormous pylons in their valley along a line stretching over 100 km. Thus two opposing needs came into direct conflict: conservation of the landscape and the health of people and animals, versus energy development and important spin-offs.

Director

Ólafur Rögnvaldsson

After having completed his studies in 1986, he worked as director of photography for numerous documentaries and television programmes. Together with Anna Rognvaldsdottir, he founded Ax Films, which has an intensive programme of filmmaking activities.
