On 30 October 2018, Storm Vaia devastated the forests of the Val di Fiemme. The fury of the storm gives way to a journey towards the mountain top, with Fabio, a businessman who makes soundboards, another Fabio, a famous string instrument maker, Valeria, a hydrobiologist and researcher, and Tomas, climber, mountain dweller and alpine guide. The voices of the four alternate in this filmed ascent of the mountain, in search of the origins of the change threatening this environment and the sense of communion with nature.
