This film was made not for speleologists, but for all those outside who ask themselves: how do they manage to breathe? Aren’t they afraid of getting stuck? What do they do down there? Why? Films about potholing often talk about caves: the discovery of a cave, the unblocking of a cave, the joining up of a cave, or the mysteries and peculiarities of a particular cave. They rarely talk about potholers: who are these strange individuals who explore an upside-down world?
