The forest of Is Pranus in south-eastern Sardinia (tablelands). Cicadas, footsteps and muted axe blows hitting the bark of ancient cork trees; a concerto for images and sound giving rise to a production chain that contributes towards making the Mediterranean cork wood ecosystem into a giant green lung and a natural filter for the air that we breathe.

Marco Antonio Pani
His career dates back to 1992. He has made fiction and documentary short films, often focusing on recounting man and his relationship with local areas. He has taught direction, organisation and management of actors in courses at Spanish universities, to then supervise documentary and audiovisual literacy workshops at the University of Cagliari. He currently teaches cinematography at the Academy of Fine Arts "Mario Sironi" in Sassari.
