The Bakhtiari tribe is the largest group of Iranian migratory nomads, who move en masse in Spring to a Summer camp where there is water and plants for their livestock. This year, due to the pandemic, the government has closed down the roads that the Bakhtiari must travel to migrate. The nomads and their animals are stuck in their Winter camp which is getting warmer by the day. They must flee these now dry plains with no plants or drinking water, and head to the springs and luscious flora of their Summer camp.
